The neighborhood is dog-walkable and close to everything downtown. What a great City Asheville is; and, this place is a jewel in the box. "

Easily walkable to downtown Black Mountain, the chic decor and updated amenities kept us warm and comfortable, even in the frosty month of December. The outdoor garden area provides a tranquil space, even in dormant winter times. "This place is now our favorite lake getaway. Small and very cozy with well-stocked kitchen with all you need to cook your meals. The owner is wonderful and very easy to contact. Highly recommended if you want to escape for some peace and quiet with such beautiful view. We will definitely be back! "

"Bethany is an amazing host who thinks of everything. We have never stayed in a home with so many amenities to make your stay perfect: smores kit, a variety of seasonings, frozen mugs for drinks, bubble bath, blankets by the fireplace, the list could go on and on. Our dog loved the fenced in yard and all the little doggie extras. House is spacious and deck provides a beautiful mountain view. An easy drive to the property was also a plus. We will book this property again and again. "

"Olive House was extremely clean and welcoming. I especially loved the farmhouse decor. The master bathroom/wet room did not disappoint with the soaking tub and double shower. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. We would not hesitate to stay at Olive House again."
