"Beautiful old building sympathetically converted to a hotel. Rooms are comfortable and spacious. The location makes the Angel a perfect stop for a short visit. The added bonus of Bills restaurant in the hotel is ideal. And a very good breakfast. The only negative is the street noise. Businesses in the side lane setting up tables and chairs made a very noises wake up call very early in a morning. Not the best when on a weekend break and wanting to wake up a little later than normal. Over all...

"My stay was for one night and the hotel suited my needs perfectly. It offered good value for money and the room and bed was comfortable. The room and building could do with redecorating but that didn’t affect my stay. Check in and out was easy and staff / owner friendly and helpful. Would recommend to anyone looking for basic accommodation at value for money cost."

"The hotel is less than a block from Paddington station which is amazingly convenient to get to almost anywhere. The area was safe to walk around and lots of food options, and also a quick walk to many other sites. It's in a historic property, but we were able to get a room with an en suite bathroom. It was tiny, but functional. All the staff we ran across were very friendly and helpful. They have key fob access to the building and also the room, so that felt safe as well. We were on the 2nd...
