"My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful but too short vacation to Brownlee Reservoir and the Wallowa Mountains in May. This wonderful old farmhouse was our base. With Bullock Orioles nesting in the back yard trees and a covey of Quail in the driveway, and the Powder River backing up to the hayfields of the ranch. A simple, clean, and well maintained accommodation, it was perfect for us and our dog. Literally 1/2 mile from two boat ramps and a mile from a good country grocery/hardware/liquor/fishing tackle store it’s a fine place for up to four people to relax. Great communication with the host during our stay. Enjoy!"

"The property was as described. Clean and comfortable and welcoming for us and our two labs (small fenced in back yard for them to go outside of leash). Even though it's right in "town" it was very quiet. The house comes well equipped and even had a hand mixer for making a birthday cake. We'll be back."
