"We had a wonderful stay and would happily stay here again! Beware that the notch is closed November - April so it takes a bit longer to get to Stowe if that's where you're headed. But the accommodations were lovely, Burger Barn nearby is a great place to grab a quick dinner and Willow the Bernese Mountain Dog is the sweetest!"

"We were looking for somewhere to stay that was convenient for skiing at Smugglers Notch. It definitely fit the bill! 10 minutes from the room to the slopes. Very quiet property. When we arrived the innkeeper greeted us and was very helpful, answering all our questions before we could even answer them. The tavern downstairs had delicious food. It IS an older building, so it had some quirks (floor was slightly uneven, and the bathroom door was a little stiff), but those were pretty minor and to be expected. The bed was a little on the soft side, but still not bad. The breakfast was generous and tasty (hash brown casserole was amazing!). Check in and out was very convenient, the parking area was a little on the smaller side but we were able to park without any difficulty."

"All enjoyed the Cottage and all it's amenities. 7 people 18-75 and plenty of room to gather or spread out. Enjoyed the games, puzzles, and just relaxing in the clean comfort house."

"Great stay at Hotel Jay, but lacking room service. We left our room each day at 9:30am and not once was it cleaned. We had to ask for towels just to have cleaned ones and they weren’t even going to pick up the dirty ones until I asked them to remove them. 5th time staying here and will be back but they need to housekeeping staff. "
