"What a wonderful small hotel! Although it is small in terms of the number of rooms, the room itself was a very nice size and the balcony was a real sized balcony. The hotel is immaculate! The bed was comfortable, the staff was extremely attentive to us, and we loved the breakfast . (Try both the tomato jelly and the pumpkin jelly. Excellent). The hotel is right in the middle of the town, which is totally charming, so everything is convenient to walk to. I would highly, highly recommend this hotel!"

"We had a fantastic 8 night stay in this comfortable, rustic cottage, which has everything you need for an enjoyable holiday. The terrace gets the sun all day long and the views are amazing. Inside the house is very comfortable, but we didn’t spend much time inside as the outside is so fantastic. We loved watching the night’s sky and saw shooting stars every night. The cottage is in an amazing setting. There are 2 other cabins on the property, but the plot is so large that you can’t see or hear them. There is a private lake, with seating making it perfect for an evening drink or picnic! The private viewpoint overlooking the whole property is amazing. We also enjoyed feeding the chickens and geese. There is a local bar (Cafe Primo Sergio) a 30 min walk from the house which serves good, home cooked food. The owner speaks very good English and both he and his wife are really friendly. The closest town is Cercal which is about a 10 minute drive away. It has everything you need, including an excellent bakery. Communication with the owner was excellent before and during our stay."

"This is going to be an honest review. What a disappointment, a complete misrepresent of what was described on the site. There was no facilities for washing clothes. There isn’t a restaurant and the certainly not any Spa! I booked this hotel/apartment for 15 nights based on what was listed on the hotel page. Don’t get me wrong we enjoyed our stay and the staff were very helpful and friendly but it was completely let down by its facilities. The breakfast was very good with a great selection of hot and cold food and well worth the price. our room was full of ants even in the bed but it was dealt with very quickly by given the room a good clean. The room itself was ok. The bathroom door, the paint had pilled away, the old hairdryer was still attached to the wall & had wires exposed, the drying line run from outside of the shower to the towel rail which was old and dirty and need replacing. There was no restaurant, once breakfast was finished you couldn’t even get a drink or ice cream until after 2pm - the drinks that were on offer were very limited, coke, sparkling water with lemon or water & on one day there was only a water the same for the ice cream, only 3 choice. You could have a toasted sandwich at lunch but choices were limited and only after 2pm. The pool and bbq needed a lot of work.The bbq had a giant hole in the base so the coals fell through, no Umbrellas for shade & the beds where old and tatty, tiles missing and no life saves rings.The outside shower was dirty. "

"Property was perfect for our needs. Not fancy, but very clean and enough room for my wife and I with our adult son. Although it could accomodate up to 5 guests, I would not recommend it. Quiet, little town with a couple of good restaurants and cafes. Short and easy 15 min drive to Vila Nova de Milfontes or Porto Covo with amazing beaches. Hosts were wonderful and communicative while we were there. Only slight downside was that once we left, the communication was almost non-existent although we had an important question. Overall, a great experience and would absolutely stay again."

"This is a lovely hotel with a beautiful view and pool. The rooms are spacious and clean. The hotel is a little isolated and you do have to drive to get to restaurants, beaches, town, but not very far. There is a restaurant and a bar and you get a fridge in your room. "
