"Perfect getaway from all things hectic. Simple, but beautiful, rural retreat, made a great base for exploring the foothills of Picos de Europa and further into the national park, but also close enough to enjoy the coast too. Very attentive host who made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our holiday. Excellent 5G reception across much of the area meant we only had to be as cut off from the rest of the world as we wanted to be."

"We had a very relaxing stay at Casa Sira, which is a beautifully restored traditional house with all the modern comforts. "We chose this house because of the location. It is quite remote, in a very small hamlet about 10km up narrow roads. Villaviciosa is a lovely small town and worth a walk around. The hamlet of Piedrafita is exactly that, a hamlet. We were hugely disappointed that the local bar/eatery had suffered a fire and was out of action for the foreseeable. "Attractive, old property with fully equipped kitchen ( although with little daylight), good bathrooms and decent beds, bedrooms & storage. Nice outside area & views. Photo is a little misleading as only half of the property was our accommodation. Pedueles is an attractive village with a small but well-run convenience store. Village is on a 'green' road which makes for very pleasant walks in either direction to the coast. Carmen was a very warm & welcoming host - however she has little English."

"This apartment was just right for the two of us (though there is room for more). We loved the covered patio overlooking the neighborhood and hills where we could sit and enjoy our meals. The bed was very comfortable and the host Sibille was so friendly and very accommodating. She has supplied the place with everything you need and more. There’s also an awesome friendly dog who will go on walks with you."
