"Perfect getaway from all things hectic. Simple, but beautiful, rural retreat, made a great base for exploring the foothills of Picos de Europa and further into the national park, but also close enough to enjoy the coast too. Very attentive host who made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our holiday. Excellent 5G reception across much of the area meant we only had to be as cut off from the rest of the world as we wanted to be."

"We chose this house because of the location. It is quite remote, in a very small hamlet about 10km up narrow roads. Villaviciosa is a lovely small town and worth a walk around. The hamlet of Piedrafita is exactly that, a hamlet. We were hugely disappointed that the local bar/eatery had suffered a fire and was out of action for the foreseeable. "The hotel has no onsite front desk. Our room was a 1 bedroom ground floor suite. The unit is dated but in good condition and clean. Oddly it didn’t have hand soap or shampoo in the bathroom. Parking is underground and there is surface street parking. I called the hotel walkable and it is to a point.
