"The cottage was lovely. Fully equipped with everything we needed and more.Lots of food places nearby, small supermarket and a couple of pubs. Train station approx 10-15mins walk away. We visited Barmouth and Harlech. Keep an eye on the train times as they usually run every 2 hours, which gave us a good amount of time to look around other places.Very scenic with the view of the hills and mountains.Shared garden with 2 other cottages, good size and lovely seating areas.The host was lovely and...

"A wonderful and spacious stone house with exceptional facilities especially in the kitchen. All the bedrooms has comfortable beddings and with enough room for 8 adults and 4 children. We definitely recommend this house to anyone who wants to visit Bala in North Wales for its facilities and location. "

"Lovely property with smart fixtures and fittings. Plenty of kitchen utensils and equipment. Good size bathroom but only one toilet. Quiet when we were there but one of the bedrooms had a window close to the games rooms so might be noisy early on (also staff congregate there first thing but no big deal). "We enjoyed a lovely break and found the property perfect for us. It wasn’t ready to access when we arrived but after a short phone call this was quickly and very efficiently resolved. The food and service at The Castle View was excellent."
