"The Celtic Royal staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is just a short walk to plenty of restaurants and pubs, and the castle itself. The property also had a nice pool and gym on site. "

"This was our second time here and they have dog friendly rooms. The lady at the front desk was friendly and upgraded us to a bigger room which was so much better than the one we had booked. It was quite spacious and the bed was very comfortable. We dinner at Inn restaurant which had a lot of choice. Service again was good. They have new EV chargers which we made use of. "

"Usually stay at the Management Centre in Bangor but Victoria Hotel popped up on my feed. Great, fast reception. Lovely, clean room with amazing views over the Menai straits and bridge. Food and service at dinner was exceptional. Faultless from everyone. Thank you"

"Stayed here as close to university. Was a 2 minute walk. Deserves a higher rating than it currently has. No lifts so people with mobility issues may struggle. Wasn’t a problem for me and my daughter. We had a twin room. Shower was a little disappointing as spray was not very good or powerful. However was over a full size bath with plenty of hot water. Comes with free breakfast too. Limited to 5 items and wasn’t clear if you could pay to add to this. Cooked breakfast was delicious. Plenty of tea and coffee available in the room. I will definitely stay here again next time I come to Bangor. Lots of food outlets and a couple of bars within a couple of minutes walk. "

"Lovely hotel, some rooms are excellent and exceeded expectations, spa facilities, main hall, library, bar and restaurant are beautifully renovated, and we were allocated room no.17, sympathetically decorated in keeping with the character of the Hall, the bathroom was very modern and clean. Spa was great, pool sauna, steam room very nice too. We had an issue with the TV and staff did all they could to fix the problem, even brought in another TV and we could use apps more easily. The restaurant food was very good, really enjoyed our meal. Overall Staff very accommodating and friendly which added to a lovely relaxing weekend."
