"The Doubletree is an excellent option for anyone interested in staying in downtown Poughkeepsie. I have stayed there on three different occasions in the last three months, each time for several days,and have always had a good experience. The staff is friendly and welcoming, the parking is free, access is convenient, there are great restaurants within a short walk, and it is only a short walk to the Poughkeepsie Bridge State Park, which is spectacular. Many rooms have a beautiful view over town to the Hudson River. For these reasons and more, I am looking forward to my next visit."

When my husband went to the cafe to get us breakfast it cost $33.20 for 2 breakfast sandwiches, a regular coffee and a cup of tea. The next time I would go to Dunkin Donuts for half the price. "
