"Very modern, very clean and only 300m away from the center of Karlsruhe-Mühlburg, with a few restaurants and bars / cafés and a good bakery at nearby Kaiserallee. The accomodation was also very quite. Only one small issue existed: The TV cable-receiver box was apparently left in disorder and did not work at first. But I could fix it, so that TV was working as well."

"We were disappointed with the property. Two rooms and up to seven guests does a lot of heavy lifting in the description. Our kids bedroom was also the shared dining room and lounge. There is also air conditioning but only in one room. It is not available in the bedroom. A washing machine is available but you have to pay extra for this which felt cheep and penny grabbing. I found the correspondence with the owner difficult and received a curt reply when seeking to clarify entry...

"The apartment was roomy, comfortable, modern and supplied with ample kitchen utensils. Good location. Parking limited. No concierge; non-contact registering leaves you without anyone to offer immediate assistance. Malfunctioning RFID (electronic) keypad locked us out of our apartment on our last night and left us sleeping on the hallway floor with no bathroom facilities available; calls to SEEGER emergency assistance proved useless. Expedia was of no help. Wouldn't risk a repeat."

"Die Wohnung im Dachgeschoss eines Mehrfamilienhauses ist sehr geräumig. Das Schlafzimmer ist groß, die Betten sind wirklich Spitze!! Verdunklung nur per Rollo, und die funktionieren nicht mehr richtig. In der Küche ist alles vorhanden was man braucht, und sogar noch Einiges mehr. Kleiner Tisch zum Essen. "Lovely area to explore, close to some great towns and attractions including heaps of wineries. Apartment was very spacious and extremely clean. Hosts happy to share their local knowledge which is always appreciated. Even though it was the a hot day 39 degrees the apartment was still nice and cool upon our return. Nice little outdoor area to enjoy as well. Highly recommend staying at this apartment."

On the negative side the apartment felt bare and uninviting in the style of a student residence, and had some functional issues, e.g. broken light bulb, dripping bathroom taps, low quality bed. "We are from Canada and our stay was very nice. The rooms are very large as is the bathroom and the Kitchen is a separate area. Everything was nice and clean. There is lots of closet space if need be. The Hosts greeted us upon our arrival and she was very pleasant. The area is residential and very quiet....the country side is beautiful. There are shops and a nice bakery that is only a 5 min walk away. Baden Baden town in the black forest is not too far a drive and a nice place to visit and walk...

"Hazienda was super nice place for our family vacation during Christmas break. We truly enjoyed our stay and made us fill at home. Kitchen was adequate for our light cooking during holiday and we really liked walkable neighborhood this apartment was situated on. Heated floor helped us when dealing with unexpected wet weather during our winter break. We will definitely stay here again next time we visit Baden-Baden."
