"It's an old shop so it's a bit worn, but it has more than everything you need for a comfortable stay. Good fireplace and lots of firewood, books, magazines, games. Breakfast provisions laid on which was unexpected but very convenient. Good shower. Less than a 1 minute walk to the pub for meals."

Didn’t need key when we arrived as house was already open which could be unsafe had anyone else went in before we arrived. "The property is as listed. Beautiful, well appointed and serene location close enough to everything. BUT it took over 30 minutes and several long distance phone calls to obtain the correct lockbox code to enter the property which was really frustrating after a long day's drive. I hope they sort that out."

"Lovely stay, convenient location, heat pump, well stocked kitchen, very cute mezzanine area, perfect for the kids to be separate. Highly recommend."

"We stayed here for two nights, before and after our Tongariro Crossing trip. The room was clean and had everything we needed. Check in and communication was straightforward. The ear plugs left on the table came in handy as the property is located next to a fairly busy road and trucks transporting cars stop and do their driver change-over next to it. Also the carpet in the room could do with a refresh as it does not smell very nice."
