"Room was well equipped and clean, slightly on the worn side and outdated. Got the view we paid for of the steaming geysers however was expecting a more modern room with newer amenities eg. glass shower instead of bath shower with curtain. Buffet breakfast was the highlight, everything was incredible and staff were lovely. "

"King bed room was newly refurbished and immaculate. Good view of lake. Only problem was layout. Settee was placed on same wall as tv so you couldn't watch tv from settee, only from bed. Elderly people would appreciate a seat. Bathroom excellent with large shower and demisting mirror. Pool is great, but a rail on steps would be a help when getting out. We used car charger for our ev. "

"All the staff we had interactions with were fabulous, they couldn’t do enough for us, so friendly and accommodating 10/10. The establishment is well kept and modern. Plenty of parking, close to petrol station and Woolworths and food outlets. Would recommend."

"We enjoyed staying at Prince’s Gate Hotel. The on-site hot springs with three pools in the hotel garden were the best treat. We had a one-bedroom apartment for the two of us, which felt quite spacious, although the kitchen facility was bare minimum. The hotel is within walking distance of downtown Rotorua, with ample dining choices. "We stayed here for one night on our road trip. Although we loved the hotel, location and room, the parking charges of $59 a night seemed very excessive. This is Valet Parking only. Yes, you do have the option to park on the local roads, but as this is only free between 5pm and 9am, you would need to pop out early and pay if checking out later as we were. "Emma has been so responsive, I appreciate the prompt communication! The property was easy to find and super clean. I loved the milk in the fridge as I was thinking of getting some, that was a great surprise. Very comfortable bed too. Highly recommend for people traveling with their dogs!"
