"The view of the ocean was stunning, the gardens were lush and peaceful and away from the crowds, but only a 8 min walk into town, we could cook and eat out easily. It also had parking!There is a winding staircase to the bedrooms but it was fine for us! Loved staying there and Luigi was a wonderful host!"

"We had an excellent time at this unique property. The views and location were amazing. It was a short walk to the old town part of Monterosso for groceries, restaurants, or shopping. Also, I would highly recommend the hike to Vernazza, but don’t forget to bring the hiking poles that the property provided."

"Beautiful spot to stay and explore that part of Italy. Winding road to get there but worth it. Very comfortable furniture throughout and well maintained. We didn’t cook meals, but the kitchen was well stocked. Just telling friends that you stayed in a castle built in the 1400’s is worth it. "

"This rental was breathtaking! We traveled to Cinque Terre via train to Monterosso and the rental was located just a few minutes from there. The climb to the rental is no joke but absolutely worth it!! We felt like we were staying in a mansion/castle on the cliffs. "Margherita's apartment has a beautiful coastal feel, and view off the balcony could not be any better. The apartment is the best equipped of any VRBO we have stayed at in any country. Margherita is a delight and very responsive. Monterosso is the village to stay in Cinque Terre and then visit the other villages from this home base. The restaurants, shops, and more expansive space provides for a less touristy place to stay. We loved every minute! Grazie mille Margherita!!"

"Great location in quiet area.The apartment is 10 mins walk from station . Fully equipped kitchen but no kettle and washing machine. The room was good with good bed and decent size bathroom for ltaly. Clothes line outside on the balcony. A few issues with toilet not flushing and gas stove not feeding gas through at times. Overall a lovely stay in quiet area and many cafes around to eat.wifi was good . I would highly recommend staying here . One of the best beaches in ltaly thats for sure !!...
