"In our 2-night stay we had no contact with anyone else at the hotel, but could hear othwr guests a little from our room. Check-in was easy with guidance sent in advance, and the room was cleaned well during the day. The accomodation was clean and comfortable, although the common areas were unlit during the day so quite dark. A small amount of shampoo and shower gel was provided, and the room had a kettle. "The Rose and Crown was a lovely timber framed building but with modern facilities. The room was large, warm and comfortable with a couple of easy chairs which were an added bonus. The shower was good and easy to use. The breakfast was well presented and good and the staff were all pleasant and created a relaxed atmosphere"
