"I am honestly very surprised, pleasantly so, with my stay at The Beach View hotel. We check out in the morning, but I will definitely return. The front desk staff was so friendly upon our arrival and throughout our short two-night stay. Check-in was a breeze. They serve a nice free breakfast each morning. The breakfast biscuit sandwiches were great as was the frittata. There is a nightly wine and cheese service in the early evening, and warm cookies in the later evening hours. Both are served in the cute lobby. The rooms are charming, overall well maintained, and smell fresh and clean. The bed was firm but comfortable. The best part is the proximity to everything! The boardwalk and beach is mere steps away. There are fantastic dining options as close as directly across the parking lot. There is honestly no need to even move your car unless you plan to venture further from city center. This hotel is a gem. I was nervous booking because some "billing issues" are mentioned in other reviews. But those seem to stem from folks not reading the welcome letter that does indeed mention an additional $20.00 per person per night for any guest over two adults. This didn't apply to me, but it does show this information multiple times on the website and the booking confirmation. There is free onsite parking. I personally didn't have an issue finding a spot, but we are here off-season before the crowd surge. Things MIGHT be more complicated then. "

"Plenty of room for couples/families to be able to have their own space. A great space for lots of cousins to sleep together. Enough space to eat and hang out together. Well stocked kitchen, including an interesting assortment of spices and glasses. Plenty of puzzles and games.Easy access to shops to get your treats, meals, souvenirs, bikes, etc within a few minute walk. Also to get to the beach. Trash and recycling cans were moved to the street on the right days, so you just needed to be sure to use them. Chris was very welcoming and responsive. We felt like he cared about us and his home. This is a very comfortable home. Clean. Neat. Places to hang loads of coats, etc. Room to move. Room to put all the stuff we brought.I recommend this home and would be very happy to stay there again."

"We loved this hotel! The staff was so friendly and the location is just a block from the beach. My boyfriend and I got a couples massage at their spa and that was a wonderful relaxing experience. The complimentary full breakfast, evening happy hour and nightly baked cookies was a big plus. We can’t wait to go back! "
