"We loved our stay at the beach house, it is located in a quiet and peaceful and private spot on Manson's lagoon. Our stay was in the winter, and we enjoyed cozy evenings reading books and playing games by the wood burning fire. The cabin has an amazing array of very interesting books. We enjoyed the occasional fire outside by the firepit at the edge of the lagoon. This would be a good place for a birder, as the lagoon was always busy with birds feeding in the area. The wood burning hot tub was a delight after a chilly paddle. We felt rested and relaxed after 5 days here and the kids loved our daily paddles on the lagoon and night time explorations at low tide, where we found to our surprise that the water would glow with bioluminescence when disturbed."

"My father and myself came up the coast on a whim just to experience the area while I’m visiting and booked a room at the Lund Resort at Klah ah men literally an hour before we arrived. The resort is right on the water with an amazing view, the staff member we met/checked in with was wonderful (thank you!), and the rooms are spacious with comfortable hues - the electric fireplace is a really nice mood and I really loved the beautiful Indigenous art throughout including on the bed which was extremely comfortable. Spontaneous decisions don’t always work out but this one absolutely did. Not a single regret choosing to stay here and next time I’m able to travel this way, I’ll be staying here again. You’re in the heart of something up here and the quiet is the perfect escape."

"Had a great stay at the Charming cabin on Candice's property with our two dogs. The physical location is walking distance to the general store, coop and coffee store. The overall island location is great for exploring. Kitchen is well equipped, the sauna is great, and the fire pit and table are a wonderful spot to unwind in the evening. Great stay and would return"

"It is a fun little spot to enjoy the beautiful views of Okeover Arm and convenient to get to Lund to explore Desolation Sound. We had some rousing games of bocce on the lawn in front of the cottages. Others played badminton and cornhole. The A-frame was snug for 3 adult women but we all slept really well, albeit one on the couch. The loft was accessible with a ladder and was nice with the cross-breeze at night. There is no kitchen but upon request we got a kettle & it was nice to have a small bar fridge. The bathroom has a compost toilet and it’s important to make sure that it gets looked after if you’re staying for multiple nights. Scott was a friendly & generous host. We all enjoyed our dinner at the Laughing Oyster on our first night as well as breakfast on the third morning. "

"We absolutely loved our stay at this property. The outside space was so lovely, and the main area of the house was excellent. Huge kitchen with the biggest island I’ve ever seen. The master bedroom downstairs was excellent with lots of space and a very comfy bed. Our only concern was that the rest of the beds were located upstairs in a very bright and open loft. It made it a bit difficult to figure sleeping out with 3 young children but we made it work and had fun. The listing seems to be updated now to more accurately show the sleeping situation. We will definitely be back for another stay in the future!"

"Very comfortable stay for 2 couples. Mama bear and 3 cubs wandered through the property early one morning for a photo opportunity! First evening a deer was grazing in the backyard. A great Canadian experience for our Australian guests."
