"Fabulous week in the Dordogne based at this property - very rural and quiet but lots of lovely towns and Chateau’s and other things to see and do in the region so you will need a hire car to get around. The Gîte is superbly welcoming and comfortable - has everything you need for your stay. Craig and Caroline are fantastic hosts too, full of great advice beforehand when planning your stay and also on hand if needed while there. If I could 6 stars here I would! "

"After reading the reviews we decided to take a punt and book the holiday. I’m so glad we did! All the reviews (good and bad) are spot on. The property is ‘rustic’. There are no frills but the layout of the house was perfect for 2 families and it is spotlessly clean and well equipped with everything you need. We all forgot towels and Lucie was at the door before I had even signed off. "

"Our two year old son loved the outdoor area: chasing the ducks, watching tia the dog and the horses being cooled down with water. "A charming selection of several stone-built gites that are set in a peaceful location yet only a 5 minute drive from a couple of villages and the magnificent Chateau de Biron. Our hosts Tony and Lisa were superb and our gite offered everything we needed. The gites, grounds and gardens were very well maintained as was the fabulous swimming pool. We will definitely be making a return visit."
