Located one street away from the old town, Palm House is spacious, comfortable, clean, fully equipped for all your needs and decorated with flair. A large, produce market is held in the square at the end of the street on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Restaurants and bars are within walking distance. So too are shops of all kinds. Got a car? Then the Dordogne region provides so many options of small villages and markets, wineries and restaurants, vistas and chateaux. I didn’t want to leave. A special thank you to our hosts. "

"Lovely friendly staff, my upset at not having enough pillows and coat hangers was rectified immediately. The only downside was the breakfast was not worth the 10 E that it cost. Otherwise a comfortable stay. Would go again "

"Everyone was extremely welcoming and attentive. The Chateau looks amazing on arrival and even more so in the evening. It has a fabulous pool area and the views over the surround countryside are stunning. Our room was lovely which also had amazing views. There is parking on site and we had breakfast booked which was good. The village is a stones throw and definitely worth going to visit. "

"Fabulous week in the Dordogne based at this property - very rural and quiet but lots of lovely towns and Chateau’s and other things to see and do in the region so you will need a hire car to get around. The Gîte is superbly welcoming and comfortable - has everything you need for your stay. Craig and Caroline are fantastic hosts too, full of great advice beforehand when planning your stay and also on hand if needed while there. If I could 6 stars here I would! "
