"the cabin is private once you are inside you face the woods but it is off route 32, if you use the hot tub you are facing woods which gives you privacy. I wanted a quiet weekend to celebrate my girlfriend's Bday which the cabin did suit that purpose otherwise not much to do in the local town of Cairo you blink you'll miss it. "We had a great time at the cabin! It was the perfect escape from the city. The view was gorgeous, and the cabin had everything we needed. We also tried to use the canoe but the padlock is stuck, it might be rusted/need to be replaced. Otherwise everything was perfect!"

Property was just right for my husband and I to enjoy a long weekend get away, though minor issues found when we arrived (had to wash dishes prior to use as they were visibly soiled; propane tank on grill was almost empty causing us to have to use oven - but the burners need adjusting, and there was smoke/soot produced and the smoke alarms went off even with all the windows and door opened; towels were damp, as if they had not finished...
