Consider that this is a very old house as all of the houses around Olinda city center. The room I got was quite poor. Lack of ventilation, bugs everywhere, while my friends got another rooms in the same property those were way better in general terms. Just make sure you dont get the room that is connected with Beijupirá restaurant.

Staff is the best this place has to offer! Everyone was super friendly and helpful. The place itself wasn’t my favorite. Very dark with old furniture and small bedroom. The view of Recife from the dining area and our bedroom was breathtaking. After couple of days one can get used to staying there but I won’t be returning.

Voltaremos com certeza!
Excelente pousada, no coração da cidade. Ficamos em um quarto (varadouro) que o banheiro não era tão legal, porém solicitamos para mudar para o Farol e fomos atendidos. A partir disso, nossa experiência foi perfeita, além de um excelente café da manhã.

Quarto em pessimas condicoes de acessibilidade.
Fomos para um quarto em que a cama estava em um mezanino e a escada de acesso era em caracol, o que dificultava muito o acesso. O banheiro, alem de estar justamente embaixo, ou seja, para ir ao banheiro durante a noitr, foi necessário descer e subir essa escada arriscada, estava em péssimas condições de manutenção, com vazamento na ducha, torneira de pia localizada em posição de difícil uso e vista para uma especie de jardim de inverno onde só havia entulho. Achamos lamentável pois sempre ouvimos falar muito bem da Pousada do Amparo e essa foi nossa primeira e provavelmente última experiência la.

Pousada com personalidade
A pousada é em uma casa histórica muito bonita. Quarto e banheiro amplos. Cama de molas, travesseiros e roupa de cama bons. Apenas faltou atenção a cortina do banheiro e ao assento do vaso, precisando de renovação, assim como toalhas a altura de um hotel do Roteiro do Charme. Café da manhã muito bom e variado e de qualidade, com muitos pratos típicos de Pernambuco. O melhor da minha viagem! Funcionários muito amáveis, agradeço as gentilezas recebidas e espero poder voltar um dia.
