"We arrived about 7:30 PM (19:30) after a lengthy drive and busy day near Salzburg. The Gaestehaus appears to be on a narrow alley in the middle of the town. We could barely squeeze our small car into the alley, and there appeared to be no place to park. We rang the doorbell and knocked several times, but there was no answer, and the place seemed dead, except for a neighbor lady from across the street, that seemed surprised to see us. "This is an amazing property! Perfect location. A spacious, beautiful apartment - so nice I almost just wanted to hang out there on the terrace all day. It was clean, modern, and well maintained."

historic hotel in charming Durnstein

"We had a wonderful stay in this lovely inn. Our room was spacious and comfortable. I could have stayed in all day to enjoy the view of the Danube. Dinner on the terrace was excellent and featured fresh and seasonal dishes. The breakfast buffet offered excellent variety and quality too. "

"An exceptionally nice hotel. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. An attractive back terrace was a very pleasant spot for a carry in meal. The breakfast buffet offered unusual variety, very fresh and well prepared and presented. Many healthy choices including freshly prepared vegetable juices. "
