Delphine, the owner left a career in television in Paris to pursue her dream of running a guest house and she does this to a very high standard. We are clearly talking a labour of love here. She has thrown open her house for the benefit of her guests and embraced the project with enthusiasm. "This property is completely incompetent. Don't let their info on their website fool you they are open 2:30-9 to let you in. I came at a responsible time for check in at 5:30, waited 30 minutes and no one to let you in. Of course they are not accountable for not being there to let you in. They want to charge you for the fact you couldn't get in to stay there. It is very hard to find, took 3 different GPS methods to find it, then when you found it gates closed with chickens squaking at you."

"Lovely old house, and immediately calming. Such peaceful surroundings-matched by the helpful and welcoming owners and staff. The food was so very good, a gastronomic delight-without any exaggeration! Very reasonably priced, and the wine, some of which was produced in their own vineyard, was just as good. Made use of the stimming pool too, although the weather was exceptionally hot during our visit. A very relaxing few days, mind and body rejuvenated we moved on to a hectic continuing family...

"The cottage is nice but not cleaned on a daily basis which is strange and not ideal. The bedsheets are not smooth quite rough and therefore not comfortable. Quite expensive for a bed and breakfast at the middle of nowhere "

"The castle is in a beautiful spot. Close to the vineyards and Saint-Emilion. We were in France for 12 days and this was our favorite part. The Patio room is absolutely beautiful! "

"Considering it is a place out in the country, with no stores or cafes nearby. I believe there should be some coffee/tea and especially water in the rooms. It was a very warm few days (over 90 degrees F/30 degrees C) and there was no water provided, and there were no glasses in the bathroom. The internet does not work well and I had to teach an online class which could not happen. Do not expect to connect to the internet. "
