Urlaub im Paradies
Der Strand ist 5 Minuten vom traumhaften Strand entfernt. Im Ort gibt es ein Wassersportcentrum. Man kann Surfbrett, Catamaran und vieles mehr ausleihen. Das Essen in der Pension ist etwas eintönig und es gab keine WiFi. Die Menschen sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit

NOT an hotel ...... more like a mediocre B+B!
Deceptive website with photos that are nothing like the true situation! Cheap is all that it's got going for it. Located on a Muslim island, so no alcohol ....... this should be plastered all over the website to warn Western guests who make like a drink on their holiday! Very, very disappointed!

Nie wieder Banana Residence!
VEREINBARTE ABHOLUNG VOM FLUGHAFEN FAND NICHT STATT! Außerdem wurden wir in ein anderes Hotel gebracht(Rasdhoo View Inn, was die Nacht 20€ weniger kostet), weil die Banana Residenz angeblich überbucht war (obwohl im Internet noch freie Zimmer zu buchen waren). Es gibt viele Mängel: weiter vom Strand entfernt (knapp die ganze Insel); kein Internet (Tag 1+2 hatten wir Internet, danach nur teilweise sehr schlechtes bis gar nicht); teilweise kein warmes Wasser; keine Abtrennung zwischen Dusche und Toilette (somit wird das ganze Bad komplett nass); Zimmer wird NICHT täglich geputzt; überall auf den Decken/Handtüchern/Laken sind braun/gelbliche Flecken; Kakerlaken im Zimmer; die versprochenen täglichen Trips, waren nicht enthalten; unser einziger Ansprechpartner war ein Junge, der kaum Englisch spricht; außerdem gab es große Verwirrung wer überhaupt für uns zuständig ist; die Decken haben kein Bezug; das Bett ist so hart, dass wir abends kaum einschlafen können und morgens mit extremen Rückenschmerzen aufwachen. Als wir gebucht haben, haben wir die etwas teurere Variante MIT Frühstück genommen (knapp 50€ teurer), doch dies steht weder auf der Reservierung, noch auf der Bestellbestätigung, den Preis haben wir trotzdem zahlen müssen. Das war NICHT das was wir gebucht hatten! Eine Klärung des Problems wurde von dem Manager abgelehnt und auch vereinbarte Klärungsgespräche wurden absichtlich von seitens des Managers versäumt.

One of the best experience we have had at this hotel, with friendly staffs and just a few min walk away from beautiful Bikini beach. Highly recommend!

Fantastic, 5/5, would recommend to everyone
Fantastic stay, really nice and clean hotel, very friendly staff. Very helpful. Food was very nice, trips which were included were amazing. I would like to say massive thank you to the guy who was serving as in the hotel, lovely person, got nothing bad to say about him, does his job really well.

Nice hotel with friendly people
We stayed at Banana Residence for a week with our 3 year old child. Guest house was clean, room was good size and bathroom in good condition. We also went for night fishing and sand bank tour activities and both were very good experience! Highly recommended. The only thing is be aware that not much food choices and the main food is tuna. This is the only downside of the residence for us, but if you happy to eat tuna every day it is not a problem for you at all! Also would like to state that it is perfect place for children as well our little one loved this place!
