"Charming spot is as described, stone house with a brook running behind. Stayed in early March so the house had to be heated by the wood stove fairly constantly. Some wood was provided but we had to go up the hill to fill a wheelbarrow for another load. Internet access was sketchy at times. A weak signal. "We had a very nice stay and the house was well equipped. The garden is large which gave the children space to run around and the kitchen had everything we needed. Most importantly the beds were comfortable! Location is superb if you are looking for somewhere quiet and rural but we did end up driving a lot for attractions further afield. Plenty of parking. When we called about a few issues, the owner came within 10mins and both were resolved immediately. The home-made jam was greatly appreciated....
