Although, it was a bit more in the woods and up into the mountain than I had realized (people were not kidding when they said to make sure you have 4 wheel drive) it was a really great stay for us. "The cabin was the perfect way to spend a weekend getaway. The views at sunrise and sunset were to die for. It was just as nice spending time in the cabin as it was hiking in Shenandoah and exploring nearby Orange. The entire weekend was such a nice escape from the city. I wholeheartedly recommend staying here."

"This is a great place to stay if you want to hide out in the woods for a weekend and go for a hike or two. The house itself was small but comfortable for four people and worked perfectly. We walked to the White Oak Canyon Trail and loved the hike. It was amazing to not have to drive up like I have so many times. "Within 30 minutes of my arrival the first evening, it started to snow. It continued to snow all night long and into the morning. When I woke-up I was in awe because the snow was so beautiful and the cabin so charming. I felt like I was smack, dab in the middle of a Norman Rockwell painting.
