"A couple of maintenance bits to sort out (had a door handle loose on the bathroom) but aside of that a great value for money place. A special shout out to Paulo on reception who was incredibly helpful and gave us suggestions and helped with the luggage on our last day. All the staff were friendly and welcoming. Ideally located for the highlights of the city. Blackout blinds in the room and super silent aircon was a real bonus!"

"As a woman solo traveler, Miragaia Riverside Suites was a perfect hotel. Marta was very helpful and kind everyday. Breakfast was delicious. My room had a beautiful view of the water and buildings across the river. The room had everything I needed. I like to walk so I didn't mind the location being about a 20/30 min walk but there are train and bus routes available as well. I would definitely stay again."

"The hotel is difficult to locate, Google maps takes you to one street over. When you find the front door it looks like an apartment entrance in a row of shops. Then you have to climb stairs. But it is worth the effort. Great staff and service. Lots of character and very clean."

"This hotel is in middle of the city which is great if you want to walk around and eveything was easy to get to. Getting a taxi is easy or bolt like uber is very friendly. The staff is super nice and friendly the breakfast was serviced with so much care. We enjoyed that alot. But the bed is hard mattresses that was very uncomfortable for us. The room we selected was garden facing but no view of the garden that was disappointing. The sofa bed was also not very comfortable. "
