Falcon's View is nestled in the Ruahine Ranges. Private and elevated there are views of the rolling rural landscapes from every window.
The Studio is off-grid and provides a Queen Bed, Self-contained kitchenette, wood stove, gas cooker, solar lighting and still gets reception for most mobile internet technology. With access to native bush walks, hiking trails, and local wetlands, there is plenty to see while you are here, but take a break; genuinely rest. That's what Falcons View is for.

I recently had the most amazing experience staying at the flacons view studio in Rangiwahia, and I cannot recommend it enough! If you're looking for a peaceful and rejuvenating escape from the hustle and bustle of city life, this is the perfect place for you.

Had an amazing stay here. Hosts were very kind and incredibly helpful. View from the room was absolutely amazing and was in a fairly close range of some great hiking trails and natural destinations. Lovely place to go for some peace and quiet. Getting up and down from the bach without the multi-terrain vehicle is a bit of a challenge, but overall a great stay!

A beautiful bush fringe location. Awesome views with a glimpse of Mount Egmont. A quiet and relaxing off the grid weekend experience. We would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a hideaway vacation.

Awesome Spot
Hosts were great, helpful and answered any questions we had. The Falcons Nest was amazing, perched up on the hill side, providing great views and sunsets. Totally private and surrounded by bush and native birds. Highly recommend taking the opportunity to unwind here.

Glorious bush retreat
Magnificent view at the top of this very steep track. Thanks to our hosts who kindly shuttled us up and down and rescued us on another occasion. Despite cold morning and evening temperatures we were Very cosy with the little wood stove going and lovely snuggly bed. Thanks very much!

This is an amazing and unique off grid cabin with spectacular views. Hamish and Orelle are exceptional hosts. Was particularly glad to be ferried with our luggage up the last section( too steep for the car). A most comfy bed and a wonderful quiet space to unwind
