My room was spacious, comfortable and the garden courtyard was the perfect spot to relax and listen to the birds! The location is also very central and for someone not familiar with the area, was easy to reach and close to shopping and restaurants. "If you are traveling for business this is not the place. Rooms are massive, but old and dilapidated. I had a strong drain smell also in the bathroom. Late check-in and early departures for business is a disaster. No after hours room service, despite saying so on the website. No gym. No early coffee/breakfast. Avoid. "

"The guest house is in a great location - within walking distance of parks and shops and also within driving distance of a lot of what Johannesburg has to offer. The rooms are clean and quiet and the surrounding gardens are well looked after and calming. The breakfasts are delicious and service overall very good. There is secure, off-road parking."

"Was threatened by another guest in front of host and was told it was a joke. I was told he would throw me from the stairs. The guest repeated himself three times and jammed the keyway of the door so I could not enter my room. The host supported his actions by explaining he had a good character reference. I left the place after the next day and threatened them with legal action......it' a shame people don't under hate speech is not funny and should not be tolerated."

"I think it should be updated with the current pictures as the current picture online does not reflect the true picture of the property. I prefer low-income earners rent the place and smoking should not be done in public."
