"Our stay was absolutely wonderful. We were in the area hunting and was using the hotel as a base camp and resting station. It was great. There was a small issue with the TV. But I let the front desk know and they offered to put us in a different room but the problem wasn't big enough for us to move rooms."

"Overall, the stay was fine, and what we needed, a place for the night. The rooms were very clean and uncluttered. No body wash and very little toilet paper, and only enough coffee for one cup each. We hoped for two. Being Xmas, the office had shorter hours, so we were unable to get more of the amenities. "This was once a nice place. Owner is a cheapskate, won't spend money on necessary repairs. The staff is as helpful as they can be given the circumstances. Office is not manned at night, if you have a problem yer out of luck. Linens are threadbare. None of the services advertised online are available."

"We intended to relax, hike, and enjoy beauty. This place looks amazing in photos but does not compare to its look and feel. There are so many interesting details about this home; the owner engages with her guests and is happy to discuss the home's construction and history. The short walk to the Rio Grand is not difficult and has places to take photos and read a book. We left feeling sad our time was over and already miss the views from the bedroom. We will be booking again."
