"Municipal Thermal baths partly out of work, due to recent flooding. Hotel staff did not inform us of that, nor did Baths personnel. Hotel is in rundown condition with limited services available. Front staff is friendly but this property barely deserves a 3 star, let alone 4. "

"Overall 5 stars but I do want to give a few pointers… if you get there after dark know that the parking will be before you reach the actual hotel building. It’s dark so it will be a little challenging for you to recognize. Once you find the parking it will be super easy. Make sure you get the gate code, room number, and all the check in instructions after you book the reservation because this hotel is self contained which means there will not be a person checking you in. "This is a modern property. We had a room with a panoramic view onto the lake. Breakfast buffet was good but disappointing selection of Portuguese cheeses. The hotel has recently added a restaurant - excellent. Very little English spoken. "

"Gorgeous building, lovely wine, a great breakfast and really friendly hosts. However, if you're doing the Camino, it's a beautiful place to stay but Google will not help if you're walking. Ask the owners for directions, or take a cab - it will save you trying to find waterside paths that don't exist and getting lost in the woods!"
