"One of the best stays of our entire Italian trip with my wife. We booked the room with the incredible sea view and large balcony—a breathtaking view honestly and it definitely looks even better in real life than in the pictures. The staff were very friendly and communication was fairly easy in English. Luckily, the hotel was hosting a wedding that day, so we had the honor of witnessing an Italian wedding! One of our highlights was the broadly selected breakfast we had—with a sea view at the restaurant as well. Omelet, fresh bread (!!), filled croissants, yogurts, mixed fresh fruit and one of the nicest cappuccinos I had in Italy—this hotel has it all. The car drive up and down the hill to Amalfi took about half an hour and was fun, but be cautious; the street is quite narrow and only for experienced drivers. Would definitely consider this hotel again; thank you!"

"Our entire 4 night stay was truly outstanding! This hotel is spotlessly clean, comfortable, and quite elegant, with a highly competent, professional and helpful staff. The location is perfect in that it’s a quick walk into the main part of town, yet is separate enough to be peacefully quiet. The included extensive breakfast buffet was an appetizing presentation of fruits, meats, cheeses, breads, pastries, yogurt and hot dishes and truly a delightfully delicious way to start each morning. Without any hesitation at all, I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Sorrento."

"Staying at the Continental Sorrento was one of the best hotel experiences my wife and I, from Vancouver, have ever had. Perfect location and great hotel, but what really made the experience great was the hotel staff. From the valet to front desk staff everyone was as professional as they could be. The buffet breakfast was amazing with Antonio being a highlight of our mornings. Definately order a cappucino. You will not regret booking the Hotel Continental. Great location Great Beach. (With complimentary elevator taking you right down) Perfectly kept up Amazing all around Thank You Hotel Continental "

"In the centre of Sorrento. Sitting in the Citrus Grove beside the pool you would not know you were in a busy city. Loved all the tiled floors. Staff were excellent. All very helpful. We arrived by ferry and got a taxi as very very steep hill which most of the town is built on. Left by train which was about 10 min walk to train station, less if u are fit. The bus to Naples airport goes from there too. Train left on time and arrived on time. "
