"I arrived at the hotel at around 5 am and the owner kindly let me check in at that time (I had paid for the previous night) so didn't have to hang out at the airport forever after an extremely long trip to Sri Lanka which I had read was an issue at other hotels. There was tea and coffee in the room but no heating kettle, so you couldn't actually make coffee even though instant coffee was sitting there was there which was a bummer. ...

"We could not have dreamt of a better place to start our Sri Lanka trip. The place is beautiful, nested among trees at the end of a road and along the river.
