"We had a great stay here and a fantastic holiday. Ralph made the whole process very smooth and gave great recommendations for the local area. The villa was perfect for us- clean, well equipped and close to beaches, shops and restaurants. We loved it and hope to return!"

"Had a really nice stay at this villa. It’s tucked away in a small town about 20 minutes outside of Sintra and offers a lot of privacy. The view of the ocean is stunning and the hosts are very responsive. Some wine and snacks were there already upon our arrival which was much appreciated after a long flight.The electricity in the house limits all of the heaters running at once but you can swap between the bedrooms and the common areas as needed. "I would highly recommend this place. However, if you are traveling in the winter, you should know that there is no central heating and there are only two portable electric radiators to warm the apartment. So, it got pretty cold. There is also know laundry machine, so if you are traveling with kids for a longer stay, that can be problematic. Other than those two things, the place is perfect. So if those are not an issue, then you should 100% try and book this property. "

"A really nice property in a great location for exploring the area. Within easy reach of Lisbon and other areas for day trips; it's about 20 minutes from Seixal ferry. Fantastic welcome from Sandra, the host. It felt like we stayed with a friend. She was so helpful when my spouse had a dental emergency - Sandra sorted us put an appointment straight away - even on a Saturday! The house was dirty, poorly equipped, and had multiple issues: a filthy pool, leaking faucet, unusable washing machine, ant-infested mattresses and dirty, and low water pressure, toilet was blocked for all the week. "We booked this because I wanted to be near the sea = we were actually high up on a rocky promontory but that was fine, view was great and we were not in the midst of loads of people. One issue is parking - we had no trouble but I can see during busy times that there may be. But there seems to be enough, just need to be creative. The house was clean and has everything - no AC but with the sea air, probably no need,. It does take time to get used to the European way of heating water for showers...

"We are staying in 4 different places around Portugal, and this is the accommodation I was most nervous about. There was no communication from the host apart from check-in info which was instigated by me, even when he said he would be in touch. The accommodation was basic, but had everything we needed. Aircon was a big plus. However, the place lacked any comfort . One pillow per person, no cushions on the sofa (which was peeling and leaving a mess) and no where comfortable to sit outdoors...
