"Our second time staying at the house. We absolutely love the property and all its surrounding wildlife. Enjoyed spending time hiking, fishing, crabbing, and watching eagles flying over the water. The house is clean and well stocked, and the game room is a great place to spend time in the evenings or rainy days. The hosts are attentive and helpful. Looking forward to visiting again!"

"This house is nicely decorated and well appointed. The kitchen is fully furnished with all the necessary equipment and plate ware. The furniture is comfortable and high quality. The garages are also equipped with beach equipment, games, and an excellent golf cart (extra fee for use)."

The historic style of the home works well with the renovations which include strong WiFi, new appliances and plenty of high-tech flat screen televisions. "We planned a quick get-a-way and decided to come to Cape Charles to spend the day and stay over night. The house was charming with plenty of room. The owners communicated well and they were very accommodating on my last minute trip planning. The beach wasn’t far at all and town was in walking distance with nice weather. We came in March so it wasn’t perfect beach weather but we are hoping to come back when it’s warmer! "
