"Great stay! Bed was very comfortable, views were amazing, and everything was meticulously clean. Part of the charm of this place was the bougee slightly outdated furniture. We had a fun photo shoot exploring the place. We had dinner at Le Kliff around the corner, and this was the perfect place to stay so we could enjoy our entire experience and not worry about drinking and driving. The hot tub could have been a bit warmer but otherwise the visit was perfect. We felt like we had our own villa as there was only one other couple on the premises. This is also a couple miles from the Botanical gardens which had an amazing restaurant and some great easy hiking trails, and about 20 minutes from the PV Zoo and Mismaloya . Awesome are to get out of the city! "

"We had a wonderful stay. The villa is huge. Bedrooms are enormous with large balconies offering beautiful, but partially obstructed, ocean views. Internet was excellent. TV only has ROKU access with spanish language programming. Despite what property manager said, kitchen was fully stocked with spices and condiments. The chef and housekeeper were awesome, although Lucia (housekeeper) only has a very basic understanding of English. She did our laundry on the last day without us even asking! We bought our own groceries. Best to purchase them in PV, as options are very limited in Boca, the nearby town. Don't plan on walking anywhere as the main road is very busy and has no shoulder or sidewalk. Bus service is good. Uber from airport was only 25. Both owner and property manager were very responsive to questions. "

"Overall an average stay. The place is spacious, and the balcony is nice to have. However, there are a few negatives to mention, and hopefully they can be improved.1) The listing says there is laundry, however when we were there we were told there is no laundry. Given that we are a family with kids, we planned our laundry days in this apartment, and it was disappointing not to be able to do it. However, the building does have laundry, but we were told that previous guests did not maintain the laundry and therefore the laundry was not allowed anymore (but some other guests were allowed to use them while we were there, which was odd)2) The kitchen utensils/plates/glasses can be improved significantly. There were 2 glasses that were leaking, and most of the plates were damaged. The stove top provided was extremely hard to operate.3) The communication with the on-site property manager and the approach was odd at times. Our kids are slightly scared of large dogs given their age, but the dog of the property manager was off-leash and roaming around the building most of the time. It was clear that the kids were intimidated, and I had to tell for the dog to be kept on leash. Also when asked for questions for local help, such as how to get a taxi, and which beach to go to, there wasn't much help4) My view is that this property has seen better days, and hence the existing rating reflects that past, but it no longer deserves that rating. "What could be better than falling asleep to the calming waves outside your bedroom window and waking up to whale sightings in the morning? We experienced both during our Christmas stay at the gorgeous Casa Sol and guest house Casa Luna. With plenty of room for our large family (including a playpen and monitor for a baby), each of us enjoyed beautiful ocean views, most with king beds and ensuite bathrooms. Balconies surround each house, offering incredible bay vistas and the chance to spot a breaching whale! The spacious patio provided ample seating to soak up the sunshine and gaze at stars by night.We were awestruck by the main house’s grand design, art, furniture, and décor, feeling truly pampered. We loved the fully equipped kitchen, large dining area, and the game room perfect for playing pool or watching movies. The swimming pool was always at the perfect temperature—so refreshing after a hot day in the sun. The house is a 20–30 minute water taxi ride from beautiful beaches like Yelapa and great snorkeling spots.Being close to Boca was a plus, but remember the water taxis stop at dark, so prepare for a 15-minute walk back. And don’t forget cash for the rides! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and want to thank the wonderful property caretakers for their exceptional service. An added bonus was having three affectionate outdoor pets—dog Sofia and cats Estrella and Luna.Finally, a huge thank-you to the host, who went above and beyond with her communication and hospitality"
