Casa Tabacón is built with fine finishes, is fully equipped. The bedrooms have ceiling fans and air conditioning, the room has fan, there is also a small balcony where you can often observe the passage of different wild animals. We are 3.5 kms from one of the most beautiful beaches in the world, and The Manuel Antonio National Park. Also of many places with great tourist attraction. There are a variety of restaurants and shops to buy what you need.
We also have a tourism company dedicated to transport of tourist and guided tours.

The balcony is perfect! Early morning with coffee we saw 3 kings of monkeys, amazone, agouti.. the pool is perfect after the day out and from there we saw toucans and also scarlett macaw! The owner have several dogs and a cat and they are very friendly with everybody! We love that place and recommend it! Alberto and Milena are great hosts!

The Monkey Express!!
This property is beautiful, so many monkeys too. Super nice hosts. Also some other animals. Very safe. If I come back to CR I would go here again.

Great location
Perfect location. This was very walkable to shops and restaurants and just a short distance from the central tourist area by car. Loved waking to the howler monkeys and seeing monkeys in the back. The pool was also great. This was a great home base for exploring.

Wonderful stay
Cute little place. Very comfortable and clean. The place was very safe and gated. Short walk to grocery and restaurants. Owners were delightful and easy to work with.

Casa Tabacon
The guest house was clean, comfortable, had a well equipped kitchen, and was stylishly decorated for Christmas. We enjoyed the pool and lounge area. The guest house was closer to the host family's main home than I had assumed, but our host family was very respectful. Alberto was very responsive and helpful when the air conditioner stopped working in one of the bedrooms. We were woke daily by monkeys and we enjoyed watching them from our porch. We appreciated being within walking distance of the supermarket, and a short drive to the beach, restaurants, and provincial park. We enjoyed chatting with our host Alberto, and being greeted by his dogs. Leaving for excursions was a bot tricky as we didn't want to let the dogs out when we left. The property is gated, without a sign, or call button but the neighbour kids helped us call for the hosts to let us in upon arrival. Overall, we had a great stay at Casa Tabacon.

Excellent Stay
We had a wonderful stay at Casa Tabacon. The place was very clean, super comfortable and was well equipped with everything we needed. The location is great, just off the main road but within walking distance of a supermarket and several restaurants. There is secure off street parking. The hosts are very friendly and helpful and live in a separate house on the property in case there are any issues.

Outstanding property and location
I'm way overdue in posting this. But I stayed here with my family in July 2024. Hosts are very easy to work with and were very helpful with our arrangement. Locations i excellent - mid-way between Manuel Antonio and Quepos - after a few minutes walk to the bus stop, you can be at either location in less than 10 minutes. Within a few minutes walk there is a small supermarket and a few small cafe's. And within 15-20 minutes walk there are many other larger restaurants. House was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. We LOVED the big window in the master looking out into the jungle. We saw monkeys and other animals up close there at the house. And the pool right there on the property was a HUGE plus. We spent time relaxing in the pool almost every afternoon after our morning activities. I can't wait to return. And I'd highly recommend this property if you're looking to do things around Manuel Antonio.

Exceptional stay
We had an incredible time in Manuel Antonio and staying on the property of Alberto and Milena made it very special. The house had everything we needed and was very clean, with very comfortable beds. We spent alot of time on the balcony watching monkeys, a macaw and many birds. We loved the pool for cooling off and we adored the dogs that came to visit us, they were a highlight to our stay. Thanks again Alberto, we will be back!

Perfect Spot To See Manuel Antonio Area
Absolutely loved Casa Tabacon. It was very clean, secure and perfectly located. We stayed 4 nights and were able to visit Manuel Antonio Nationale Park, Uvita Waterfall, Nauyaca Waterfall and the surrounding beaches. Our host Alberto welcomed us and made us feel at home. Also, like others that have stayed here, we were able to see tons of wildlife each day from the balcony. Please check this place out if you are traveling to Costa Rica!

A great find!
We had a wonderful stay at the Casa Tabacon guest house. We loved waking up every morning to the sounds of monkeys and macaws and sitting on the porch watching them playing in the trees. Our hosts were such lovely people and were very accommodating. The house was immaculate and the beds were super comfy. The location is central to all of the activities near by.

Perfect Home Base for Exploring Quepos
Casa Tabacon is a wonderful location to see the sites of Quepos and explore Manuel Antonio park. The house is lovely and well equipped. The patio with the jungle view is a great place to eat breakfast and end the day. The monkeys came to play in the trees every morning which was a special treat. We look forward to visiting again.

great place to stay!
Wake up to the sounds of monkeys and Macaw's. Very convenient to restaurants, beaches and the National Park. AC in each bedroom is wonderful along with recently added wading pool. Nice neighborhood with off street secured parking. The unit itself backs up to a greenbelt and is nicely furnished. The host is a standup guy and his dogs are the most mellow easy going canines I've met.

The property is a modern, clean, and comfortable house. The owners have a separate house on site. There is lovely pool, off street, gated parking. There is also a full kitchen and washing machine We saw monkeys, macaws and toucans from the balcony and from the pool. It is conveniently located near Manuel Antonio national park and walking distance to a nice grocery store and several good restaurants. The owner is nice, helpful and easy to work with.

Great place!
We really enjoyed our stay. Very nice, clean, and helpful host. The pool was a great place to chill at the end of the day. We arranged a tour of Manuel Antonio Park. Pick up at the house. Others picked up at other locations. We were dropped right at the park with our guide. Our group was about eight people. The guide was great! Highly recommended. The is a grocery store and restaurants a short walk from the house. Great stay!

Perfect home in Manuel Antonio
We can’t say enough good things about our experience here! We had our wedding in Manuel Antonio and chose this as our home base. The owners were beyond friendly and approachable, and the stand-alone house we rented included everything we could need and more for over a week long stay. The location was central and made walking everywhere easy, plus we saw monkeys, macaws and more from our windows. Would highly recommend this spot, and if we come back we hope to stay here again.

First trip to Costa Rica
So cute with everything we needed..blender and rice cooker! The monkeys came to the balcony and made for a delightful experience. When we had one small problem in the unit, the host was right there and got the problem fixed. Wifi was pretty spotty but so is most of CR! Comfortable beds, chairsand couch!!

Absolutely incredible!
Truly made our trip that much better! The place was spotless and clean. We loved having the balcony that literally put you in the trees. Every morning we would hear monkeys and it was a delight! We went during the raining season and when it rained it was magical to sit on the balcony. There was a plunge pool and one day while sitting in the pool a monkey joined me on the other end! Incredible experience you won’t get elsewhere. We saw parrots and toucans we didn’t see at the national park! Walkable to shopping and restaurants. Would recommend driving to the beach. The check in process was a bit confusing so I wish we would have just worked it out prior to us leaving the US. The other thing is that it is a guesthouse with pets. We love pets, but just was a shock to us. Would book again!!!

Perfect spot!
Our stay was a short two nights, but it couldn't have been lovelier. The house is sparkling clean and had everything we needed. Alberto arranged a guided tour of Manuel Antonio which picked us up right at the house. Our guide, Diego, was extremely knowledgeable and it was very clear that he loves what he does. The air conditioned bedrooms were great for cooling off after a day of hiking. There are several shops and restaurants within easy walking distance. We spent one morning having coffee, reading and watching the wildlife on the back porch of the house - so relaxing! We only wish we could have stayed another night or two.

Fabulous Time!
We just spent four nights at this wonderful little VRBO and couldn’t have been happier! Within an hour of arriving, we saw a toucan and a very active sloth directly in front of our balcony. Everything was very clean and comfortable, and the hosts were very helpful and accommodating. We booked our tour to Manuel Antonio National Park through our hosts and had an excellent experience with our guide, Felipe. A bonus, especially for my two kids, was saying hi to the hosts’ very friendly dogs and cat each day. The location was great for easily walking to the grocery store and nearby restaurants. We also greatly enjoyed sipping our coffee on the balcony each morning. A wonderful little place in a beautiful country! I highly recommend!

Trip of a lifetime!!!
We had the most wonderful time during our stay with Alberto and Milena! The house is surrounded by beautiful trees, so there is much wildlife to observe from the balcony. We could hardly pry ourselves away from the house because we were seeing so many animals close-up. We had monkeys come and visit our balcony and peek in our windows daily, a sloth that perched itself 15 feet away from us in a palm tree, and we also saw many birds including a toucan during our stay. The location is perfect, you can walk to many shops, restaurants and markets. Alberto and Milena were so easy to communicate with! They arranged our airport transfer, brought us to the beach, ordered our pizza for us (as our spanish is NOT good), and even drove us to La Fortuna themselves! Don't hesitate to book this property, you will not be disappointed. They made our trip unforgettable, and we would love to stay with them again someday.

Couples retreat
Check in was easy, the host was quick on the emails. There was only 2 of us, so there was a lot of extra space. Washer onsite was handy as we had already been traveling from La Fortuna. We sat on the balcony ever morning with our coffees and watched the monkeys in the trees. We walked to El Avion restaurant for dinner and sunset drinks with a view. Taxis were easy to come by on the main road to get to the National Park and beaches. The host recommended other restaurants that we tried and were so glad we did. There is air conditioning in both bedrooms that we used. But you will be on the balcony enjoying the jungle view more than anything. We would definitely recommend this apartment is lucky enough to visit Manuel Antonio.
