Our room was very small and run down. Room was clean but fixtures and finishes were old and beat up. Smelled like moth balls or some kind of air freshener, and there is loud construction going on all day in the compound.

Enjoyable stay
We enjoyed our stay. The hotel meets what you need, it is clean, the staff is friendly, the breakfast is good and many things are walking distance.We walked to the beach (20 minutes), walk to a few restaurants (less than 10 minutes) and even did a yoga class and massage (2 minutes walking distance). It's only 10 minutes driving from Manuel Antonio national park.

Will stay again for sure.
The bus to Manuel Antonio stops in front of hotel. Did not have to drive anywhere. Plenty of suvenirs, restaurants and bars in walking distance. Very friendly staff

It is not a high-end hotel, and is one of those struggling to stay alive as a result of the COVID plight. It was clean and maintained excellent COVID sanitation. As with many operations affected by COVID, the administration is grasping at straws wherever possible, in order to collect that "extra dollar": and, while understanding the need, I did not appreciate the underhanded methodology and false claims used to extract an additional 30.000 CRC. [If required, I have no problem with giving the details.] I would recommend Divisamar for an inexpensive "no frills" stay in a fabulous location.

Erick y Alvaro, los dueños tienen un trato bastante malo hacia los huéspedes, no recomiendo el hotel. Cierran la puerta a las 10 pm y si no ha ingresado a esa hora no puede ingresar hasta el día siguiente a las 6 am. No tienen personal de seguridad. La experiencia fue bastante molesta con estos señores. Ni de gratis regreso a este lugar..

It was very close to all the main tourist destinations, like Manuel Antonio. There was a good breakfast in the morning. They took a lot of precautions because of COVID so it felt very safe and clean.

Great price and convenient
The location is great. It’s close to cool places, supermarkets and restaurants. The bus stop is right in front of the hotel so you don’t really need a car to move while you visit Manuel Antonio. Breakfast is pretty good. Service was amazing. Everyone was very friendly and willing to help. The garden area and the pool are very well mantained. The rooms need a little renovation but beds were comfortable. Overall you get a lot from what you pay. It was a nice discovery for me that I have visited Manuel Antonio many times but I have never stayed there. So I may stay here again.

The staff was very nice; folks at the breakfast were very kind. I think overall is a good place, and it's on the affordable side. You can get luxury facilities someplace else, but you'll probably will have to pay 5x more for that. I like they clean the room very well everyday and it has a good location (but please check the map before you go so you don't think is right next to the beach - I knew it wasn't, but it's close). I'm happy, my family was happy and we will stay again.

En el centro de todo.
Nos hospedamos en Divisamar para visitar el parque Manuel Antonio. El hotel está en un muy buen lugar, rodeado de los mejores restaurantes de la zona. Ya no se divisa el mar, es un hotel viejo y está en condiciones aceptables, pero creo que podrían empezar a renovar las habitaciones. Es un buen lugar para viajeros, aventureros y jóvenes.
