Designed by renowned architect, Lindsay Mackie, and inspired by the iconic T.S.S Earnslaw, Sunshine Bay is a completely unique proposition in an idyllic location only 3 kilometres from the Queenstown town centre. Nestled within a private oasis which maximises the sun, and award winning lake and mountain views, year-round, you’ll feel right at home at this Sunshine Bay property.

ACCOMMODATION DETAILS
Arrive to a warm and rustic feel in this inviting open plan dining, kitchen, and contemporary lounge. Sit back and unwind in front of the classic fireplace.
To the right of the entrance is the fully equipped kitchen followed by the bathroom with separate bath and shower. Also on the ground level is the master bedroom – one with a queen-sized bed, separate heat pump, walk-in wardrobe, and garden access.
Packing the kids too? The lounge room features ia cosy reading nook with a fireplace, the perfect chillout spot for the kids with bean bags and board games for entertainment.
At the top of the stairs, you will find a sunlit balcony, perfect with a book whilst enjoying the sound of the stream and native birds. The second bedroom consists of a queen bed, plus a private balcony with lake and mountain views,.
The third bedroom was designed with children in mind and comfortably sleeps two with two single beds.
Across the hall is a dedicated office and reading room.
The carport provides space for two vehicles plus the convenience of internal access and storage for luggage and ski gear.
There is additional driveway and on-street parking if required.

LOCATION:
Only a stunning 7-minute drive along the lakeside into central Queenstown, you can enjoy the best of both worlds; a retreat from the hustle and bustle and proximity to bars, restaurants, Queenstown gardens and all the adventure activities one could hope for. No car? Close-by (100metres) is a bus stop to downtown and surrounding areas, as well as local shops for convenient stock-ups, and local-favourite dining.

GUEST INTERACTION:
The Goodstays’ Guest Services department is available via phone or email throughout your stay, 8am - 6pm, 7 days a week, with a 24-hour emergency line.

GETTING AROUND:
There is off street parking at the property plus Uber, taxi and bus options in and around Queenstown.

A copy of the guest’s photo ID (Drivers’ Licence and/or Passport) is required upon finalising of the booking.

PRIVACY ACT:
The information requested from the guest is to enable Goodstays Ltd to assess the guest’s request to rent the property. The guest does not have to supply this information, but if the guest does not, then Goodstays is unable to rent the property out. The guest acknowledges that Goodstays will collect, hold and use the guest’s personal information for purposes related to the renting of the property and the provision of related customer services, including direct marketing and assessing customer satisfaction with products and services provided by Goodstays. The guest further acknowledges that such personal information may be disclosed to debt collection agencies, insurance companies and/or law enforcement agencies in the possible event of non-payment, damage or theft to the property; and the guest hereby authorises the disclosure of their personal information for such purposes.
House Rules & Rates:
- For reservations that are outside of 14 days to arrival will only require a 25% non-refundable deposit. The balance is then due 14 days prior to arrival.

Positives - good location with nice views Negatives- bathroom - shower cubicle edges were grimey and the toilet was not great. Had a flush that sprayed water everywhere which i thought was unhygenic. .
