"The unit is clean and very well equipped. There is an abundance of towels and supplies ….more than in many other places we have stayed. The balcony was a great place to hang out and the shape of it ensured you could find a shady spot if you wanted.The only thing we were a little disappointed on were the number of restaurants within walking distance. We did however rent a car which is good because uber/taxi was a little difficult to get. The ones we did go to were awesome!Loved the pools...

"We had a wonderful stay! We've vacationed at Palmas many times over the past 30 years and love the Beach Villas because of their proximity to all we love - the beach, the tennis courts, the Plaza. This renovated villa met our expectations, especially in meeting my top priorities: cleanliness, no bugs, and safety. When we arrived, we were not disappointed. Everything we needed was there for the taking. Thank you! Morning coffee overlooking the golf course or walking the beach was heavenly!...

"We loved the community and had fun using the golf cart to get around. We rented it from the nearby Wyndham (carts4you) and paid about 100 per day. The accommodations were as described. The furnishings could be a bit better and the rooftop had a glorious view, but was sloppily painted and only cheap white plastic chairs provided. We loved the view and the access to the beach. "

"Check in and out procedure very "clunky"-not easy. Difficult to find office and parking. Was told to park in a certain lot for check-in and offloading bags. Could not get past that parking lot gate. The whole area is confusing to someone not familiar with Playa del Mar. Did enjoy the stay and the pool. Was not told that I needed to bring back towel cards or I would be charged for towels-had to find out from others. Too much guesswork/rules etc."

"This property was SO much more than we expected. Carlos was super responsive when we had initial challenges/questions on entering the complex. There were a whole set of comforts that you’d NEVER get at a hotel, like chairs , life jacket, cooking amenities, etc. - never mind the size of the room itself. I can’t even call it a ‘room’, because it was really like 3 rooms, each with balconies. Just an awesome place and would go back in a heartbeat. "
