"I loved how the property was a quick walk to the ski school and the slopes. There were many dining options and breakfast was served until 2pm so we could take it slow in the mornings. What I didn't like was that the room assigned to us had a dark interior and the furniture was not well-maintained. The leather chairs were already peeling. It had the overall feeling that it was old and not well-maintained "

"The location is great, just 5 minutes walk to Phoenix Ski Resort. The owner and the staff are very nice and kind. They always offered local snacks and other services to us. The apartment is clean and equipped with a kitchen and necessary kitchenware (i.e. rice cooker, microwave, kettle, pans, pots, dishes, spoons, folks etc.). "We were attending the Snowboarding World Cup race in adjacent Phoenix Park and couldn't find a room there. We found Orient Hotel online, knowing it was 700m away. We didn't realize we'd have to walk everywhere with no sidewalks on the main road and dragging luggage behind us. Orient Hotel looks good on the outside, poised on a hill but a terrible experience inside. DON'T GO THERE. We arrived around noon with a bus from Seoul dropping us off at Phoenix Park Resort and walked on the road...

"House was close to the town and there were also several convenience stores nearby. The whole house was cozy and comfortable, with modern features and appliances. There were also many large areas to hang out and have meals together. The top floor was especially nice! Hot water can only be used one bathroom at a time though, which was quite a hassle for large groups. Host was super friendly and accommodating. It's a great place overall!"
