"Had a lovely time in your chateau, thanks very much. The house was really beautiful, loads of space and lots of quirky features like the piano, vintage bicycles and attic rooms. Lady next door selling local cognac was very friendly. At night the sky was so dark, excellent for stargazing. The river charente is lovely for swimming in. Super!"

"We stayed in pillac with 10 adults from 74 to 34, and 9 children aged between 2 and 18 and what a holiday we had! The house is perfectly set up for family groups as each lot can take a "wing". A really well equipped kitchen enabled us to have wonderful meals at home... meat cooked by the boys and wonderful salads cooked by Barbara's friend. Barbara was super helpful and very easy to contact the whole time. The village was gorgeous but tiny..... about a 10 minute drive for any grocery shopping....

Tiene todo el encanto de una casa de campo, decorada con gusto y está equipada con productos de calidad . La casa tiene espacios exteriores donde correr, jugar, descansar. La barbacoa muy bonita . Red, nuestro perro, también disfrutó muchísimo al tener tanto espacio para correr y jugar. Una gran experiencia."

"The cottage is absolutely lovely and has everything one needs for a short or longer stay. Robert is a kind, considerate and generous host who gave us vegetables from his garden when we arrived. We had a great week there and enjoyed the quiet, rural location and private nature of the cottage and enclosed garden. We will definitely return! Highly recommended. "
