"Although a little difficult to find, this is a beautiful and peaceful house. The pool is large and worked really well for us, we were 4 adults and 4 children aged between 4-9. Plenty of garden space for the kids to run around and a lovely BBQ area. "Absolutely fantastic property - very peaceful & quiet and wonderful owners. Our little girl fell ill on the way to France and Adrian went with us to A&E and to see local GP (both during the weekend). Honestly, the owners couldn't be more helpful. Both Adrian & Pat are the loveliest people you'll ever meet. Thank you so much both for everything, we are forever grateful to you and we hope to come back again next year. "This property is a peaceful shangrila. Our hosts Barbara and Kevin couldn’t have been more helpful and accommodating. The property is an enclosed peace of paradise. "Had a lovely time in your chateau, thanks very much. The house was really beautiful, loads of space and lots of quirky features like the piano, vintage bicycles and attic rooms. Lady next door selling local cognac was very friendly. At night the sky was so dark, excellent for stargazing. The river charente is lovely for swimming in. Super!"
