"It started with a bad surprise, for which I would blame Hotels.com as they showed pictures of the Mahoora tents, but booked us in the Big Game tent… a lower standard. Once that issue was cleared, we truely enjoyed our stay… the Mahoora tent is amazing, in a stunning environment. Service is great, candle dinner is amazing… and the safari organization was perfect."

"Amazing stay at Mahoora Tented Safari Camp Wilpattu The staff was so lovely, very enthusiastic about the experience and very professional. Our dinner was amazing, eating by candlelight, on linen tablecloths, under the stars with fire-flies blinking in the forest around us. "Amazing place to stay if you plan to do a Safari in Wilpattu. The tent is very beautiful, the staff is super atentious and you can feel very close to nature. Calm and relaxing stay! I totally recomend it!"

"This is a primitive camping site. Yes the tent is large and there is an outdoor toilet and shower which is delightful but this is still just a camp site. No other facilities. There is no A/C and it can get quite hot in the tent. We had a wonderful candle lit dinner by the chef who also lit us a fire which was beautiful under the stars. Some holes in the tent need to be fixed due to mosquitos. "

"Great safari experience with personalized service, including nature loving, photographer owner riding along with us and providing wealth of info on local flora and fauna. Food was excellent, as were drinks and socializing with other guests in the evening. Tents and beds were comfortable too. Wilpatu national park is a world apart from the other overcrowded parks in Sri Lanka. Go if you can!"

"We were traveling in Sri Lanka for almost 4 weeks. We wanted a more expensive and more luxurious hotel for our last nights. That's why we choose Dolphin Beach. When we came, we didn't get any time to land. The manager was in a rush and it was not comfortable. We had an amazing room, a 'tentalow' but everything was a little bit wet. "We had an excellent experience relaxing at Jetwing Sea. The pool was amazing and was adjacent to the beach which made relaxing by the pool/beach divine. The breakfast was awesome with a variety of options from authentic Sri Lankan to Continental. The wait staff at the restaurant were extremely friendly and accommodating. The room and bathroom had a very comfortable layout and the cleaning staff did a great job keeping things clean and tidy. The spa was heavenly and the spa treatment was extremely relaxing. The only opportunity for improvement is communication. The staff at reception seemed to struggle with communication and that made the check in and check out processes very tedious. Overall, however, we had an excellent experience and would highly recommend the Jetwing Sea who is looking for a relaxing vacation by the beach, away from any hustle and bustle. I would love to go back to spend more days just relaxing by the ocean and playing at the pool."
