"Ricardo was an awesome host. He really goes out of his way to make sure that the guests are enjoying themselves. The hostel is clean and has great amenities. The location is fantastic and Putre is an adorable little town. Our only regret was not staying longer."

Hotel Las Vicunas
3.0 star property
8.0 out of 10, Very Good, (9)
"We really enjoyed our stay at Vicuña. The owner Heinz drew a map for us of the key natural spots to look out for, lent us his own 2 warm jackets when we realised the weather was much colder than expected and he also recommended a brilliant detour on our way from putre to colchane, and we had nice breakfasts and dinners freshly prepared and good packed lunches, and amazing wine. You are at 3.5km altitude so the facilities were simpler, but the service was excellent. They really looked after us....
