Very good location for local amenities, restuarants, shopping malls, etc. The only downside is being located on the 2nd storey, as we had several suitcases. However, the owner was very helpful in carrying the cases up the stairs. "

"The Borneo Eagle is an exclusive five star hotel - newly launched. The staff are excellent, facilities good - the only issue we had was the plethora of sand flies which caused a lot of issues sitting outside. We talked to the Manager about this and understand a machine is being shipped to deal with this issue - also the beach on the offside of the hotel was covered with plastic bottles and rubbish, which should be cleared on a daily basis to support the high quality nature of the hotel."
