"The location is excellent. 5 min walk to Eral's Court station which you can take Picadilly and District lines. Everything about the room was tiny. The sofa bed was bigger than the bed in the bed room. One thing we didn't like about this place was internet connection. They provide Wi-fi but it doesn't work all the time, very weak and unstable."

"I booked for Christmas to be close to a sick relative and was pleasantly surprised by how great the communication was before arrival. They offered me a complimentary upgrade which was overly appreciated! On arrival, check in was easy - there is 24 hour security. Lovely property, clean big rooms and had everything could need. Much preferred over a hotel. My only issue was the location of Kilburn isn’t great however it does have great tube access to central. "

"Everything went according to plan.The only negative comment we have was the litter in the street but the whole of London was grubby. This is not helped by large numbers of dogs using christmas displays and planters as a toilet.We hope to stay again at this property.Friendly staff."

"I traveled from the US with my wife, daughter (13 yrs old) and my nephew (16 yrs old). We were visiting friends near Richmond, London, England. We were also traveling around England with a rental car. Most hotels around England do not come with parking so this is a big plus. They have an underground parking where you use a PIN to enter and exit. There is not much to do around the neighborhood but since we have a car it was not an issue. "Great space for a family of four. Bedrooms and bathrooms were great, especially the towels. They didn't have the fridge outlet turned on so our food the first day went bad. And the two chairs in the living room were the most uncomfortable chairs I've ever sat in. But both those are a little nit-picky. 4.5 stars out of 5 and I would stay again."

"Great spacious two bedroom apartment. Very comfy beds. Staff were very friendly. Tube station less than a 5 minute walk, Bakerloo line. Plenty of supermarkets or takeaways around the apartments if wanting to eat in."

"Comfortable, cosy and well equipped, a perfect little pad for a weekend in London. And ideal to stay in the City as it's so much quieter at the weekend than central areas."

"We had a great stay at StowAway and will certainly return in the future. The room was big, comfortable and had everything we needed. It is in fantastic location to Waterloo so made travelling around the city easy and convenient."

"The property is well maintained. Location is perfect , we were able to walk to quiet a few attractions. I believe we had queen bed in reservation , we got 2 doubles instead which are tucked side by side. Not sure if that is standard practice but that was a little uncomfortable to share. I will give 10 stars for the staff at the front desk and breakfast area, always approachable and responsive. "

"very good location right beside Dominion Theatre & TCR tube & Elizabeth line stations plus buses to jus about everywhere. stairs on entry to hotel a pain but disabled “lift” made arrival with luggage accessible. quick efficient friendly check in, quick lift and renovated single room perfect with even fridge, safe, A/C TV too complicated (I never did get it to work!) woul stay again & recommend "

"I have to say, my stay at Strand Palace was amazing for many reasons. They got to know that I have planned my stay to celebrate my 20th marriage anniversary. It was nice to witness how they decorate the room with Balloons and provided special chocolates and two bottle of champaign (although we do not drink alcohol they immediately changed it to any drink we desire from the hotel restaurant) The hotel staff are so welcoming and very attentive to what ask for, they were also very helpful when asked for any guide for our walk around the city. During our stay, at midnight, the fire alarm went on, I have to give all of their staff the credit of how organized they were with the evacuation process, the marshalls were on spot with every single details in the evacuation process and coordination with the fire fighting team, thank god it was just a smoke from a room and we were all back to our rooms. one of the great things about this hotel is every attraction in central london is a walking distance, if not, the bus stop is right in front of the hotel, or take a 3 to 5 minutes walk to the underground. The only downside was the room size, it was to small but manageable. Having this all in mind, you can never go wrong in staying here, i would definitely lodge back here again on my next trip to London"
