"My husband and I spent almost 2 months in Jan/Feb and had a thoroughly relaxing stay with our dog. The villa has a lovely pool, outside seating areas and a couple of suntraps, which is great for slightly cooler days! There's enough room inside for two guests or a small young family. The tower room is more of a feature than a practical bedroom, it's accessed from outside with no bathroom facilities. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare and cook food. The bathrooms are modern and bright, with powerful showers and plenty of hot water! The only downside was no heating in the bathrooms, which wouldn't be a problem for most of the year, but it was a little chilly in January. The first night we arrived, the house was really cold. Other than the log burner, there wasn't any heating, but there wasn't any wood either. We ordered some from the garden centre just off the complex. The minimum order is 90, but it got the house toasty in no time. Alena gave us a fantastic rate for our extended stay, so we had no issues paying for the wood. You could probably source smaller quantities elsewhere, but it might be worth checking if you plan to go out of season for a short stay. The complex has a Spar, which is well stocked and competitively priced with the larger stores.You can walk miles with your dog on the many trails from the house. If you do have a dog, be watchful for processionary caterpillars, which were out as early as February this year. All in all, delightful!"

"We had a fantastic holiday, great location for us,a beautiful village nice & quiet. The villa had stunning views from the roof terrace. Fantastic heating system when needed. Nice spacious villa & well equipped. Interior decor little dated but very clean. "

"We had a 7.5hr drive to the property but Luis called us about 1.5hrs before we arrived to check what time we would be there so the property manager could be there to meet us. We went to the supermarket to collect essentials before we went to the house but we really did not need to! There was so much in the property that had been left by others tenants or provided by the owner and with the supermarket only 8 mins walk away, we should have waited! The property manager was helpful although her English is not good and she was keen to get away as her husband and daughter were waiting for her so it did feel a little rushed and, as we were tired, it made us feel a little stressed but other than that we managed to settle in. The house is very clean and very well equipped - almost too much so. There are a lot of things in the kitchen cupboards that are superfluous and as there are a very limited number of cupboards, this made it difficult to put any of our groceries away. There is also very limited work space so cooking is a trial! The property is only 2 bedrooms not 3 as advertised. The 3rd bed is a pull out sofa in the lounge. There are 2 sets of quite steep and uneven stairs in the property which are not good for people with mobility issues. Both my husband (with a bad hip) and myself (waiting for a knee replacement) found this difficult. Overall a lovely property and Luis is lovely. Situation is perfect on the beach. Would recommend!"
