"Listing was exactly as described, clean and very well kept. What they didn’t mention was the amazing view. Never got tired of having breakfast and dinner with that view. It was perfectly tucked away just enough to be secluded but not super remote. It really was the perfect cabin retreat. "

"We had an amazing time staying in this beautiful home. Communication and pre-trip information was outstanding, and the house was exactly as described. We didn’t even need to leave the property, we had everything we needed right there. Loved seeing a wild turkey and a baby deer with its mama, and the view from the kitchen and dining area was so serene. We would definitely stay here again!"

"Easy access to walk to locations and the town. Minutes to Harper's Ferry National Park. Fenced in yard for dogs was a plus. Walking trail to town seconds away. Hot tub was welcomed after hours of hiking/walking. Cool property. "

"The property itself if gorgeous. Millions of hand placed stones make retaining wall after tiered retaingwall up to the A Frame. Each teir is fun to explore and relax at. The property has a nice large fire pit are and the hot tub is in an ideal location for viewing the "

"We booked this property/area for its proximity to Dulles/Reagan Intl airports and Maryland where 2 of our 7 gals reside. The view is as incredible as depicted on this site and the area is quiet and relaxing. We all slept well and enjoyed cooking meals together in the well-equipped kitchen. As we had not seen each other in ages we really wanted comfortable spaces for the 7 of us to catch up and connect. "It's a nice property. There are some minor issues with the house that need to be taken care of. Shower in basement is not sealed properly and there is what looks like mold starting to develop. "

"Cozy home with everything you need to prepare meals and relax. The hot tub and fire pit were great! The home is well maintained and pet friendly. There is Wildlife to watch in the yard (deer, squirrels and woodpeckers). Convient to downtown Harpers Ferry (20min).Overall, We recommend the Cozy Bear for a relaxed stay."

"We had a fantastic stay at the property. The home is very charming and the pool is great. The location was also really nice. Close to wineries and hiking. Two points of feedback are that the dishes were visibly dirty upon arrival and all of the mattresses need to be replaced. Everyone in the group slept poorly and noted that the mattresses were uncomfortable. The master bedroom should likely also have a larger bed."
