"Great experience. Cabin is as shown, very comfortable, easy access. 10 min to Shepherdstown, lots of great restaurants and shops there. Our dates ended up being over the severe cold/snow in January 2025, so we didn't do much hiking or anything on the river, but it was a lovely environment, very peaceful and cozy. Owners were super responsive when needed and very easy to work with. Would definitely go back in nicer weather! "

"The cabin was perfect for a few days of writing and reflecting! Everything was very clean and it was easy communicating with the owner. The house is not "secluded" as there are neighboring houses on two sides and if I hadn't brought an ax/saw to cut my own dry wood enjoying a fire wouldn't have been possible. But overall a lovely stay and I look forward to going again!"

"We booked this cabin for a small girls weekend and it was perfect! The view is absolutely amazing! The fireplace is cozy, just make sure you bring lots of wood to keep it going! We also enjoyed using the hot tub each night! The house was clean and in order and communication with Mountain Mama’s was great. "

The cabin was clean and comfortable and had everything that we needed to cook breakfast and an easy dinner each evening. The property was beautiful with lots of tall old growth trees that were beautiful with the fall colors and even though it was in a community you felt like you were in a secluded mountain retreat because most of the homes were obsured by the trees; and it is on a dead end road...

"We booked this property/area for its proximity to Dulles/Reagan Intl airports and Maryland where 2 of our 7 gals reside. The view is as incredible as depicted on this site and the area is quiet and relaxing. We all slept well and enjoyed cooking meals together in the well-equipped kitchen. As we had not seen each other in ages we really wanted comfortable spaces for the 7 of us to catch up and connect.
